Code Runner
Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 5, 2026
Graven Guy Games ("we," "us," or "our") operates Code Runner, a neon 3D endless-runner game for Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
Local Game Data (stored on your device only)
Code Runner stores all of your game progress locally on your device using Android's app-private storage. We do not operate any server, account system, or cloud save. The game does not transmit your save data anywhere. Local data includes:
- Best distance ("Uptime") records and run statistics
- Data Fragments earned and spent, plus owned and equipped cosmetics
- Daily Challenge progress
- In-app purchase entitlements (e.g. Remove Ads, 2× Fragments)
- User preferences (audio volume, haptics, reduced motion, swipe sensitivity, color-blind mode, assist mode)
Advertising Data (collected by Google AdMob)
The game uses Google AdMob to serve banner ads, interstitials, and rewarded video. AdMob may collect:
- Device advertising identifier (resettable in Android Settings)
- Device type and operating system version
- IP address (for ad serving and fraud prevention)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, rewarded completions)
AdMob's data flow is governed by Google's policies, not ours. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google's Advertising Policies for details on what Google collects and how they use it.
In-App Purchases (processed by Google Play Billing)
Code Runner offers optional in-app purchases (such as Remove Ads and a permanent 2× Fragments bonus). All transactions are processed by Google Play Billing. We never receive, collect, or store your payment details — payment is handled entirely by Google Play. The game records only whether a purchase has been completed, as an entitlement flag kept in local storage on your device.
EEA / UK Consent
For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Code Runner presents the AdMob User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form on first launch. You can revisit your consent choices at any time via the Privacy Choices option on the About / Credits screen (reachable from Settings) in the app.
2. How Data Is Used
- Gameplay: local saves preserve your progress between sessions
- Advertising: AdMob serves ads and may personalize them based on your consent
- Purchases: entitlement flags unlock the content you bought and let you restore it after reinstalling
- Crash diagnosis: Google Play Console automatically receives anonymized crash and ANR reports for installed apps; we use these to fix bugs but do not see any personal information
- Notifications: if you allow them, the app schedules occasional local reminders on your device to invite you back; these are generated on-device and send no data to us or anyone else
We do not collect, sell, share, or transmit any personal information ourselves.
3. Third-Party Services
- Google AdMob — serves advertisements. Google Ads Policy
- Google Play Services — required by AdMob for ad serving and consent. Google Privacy Policy
- Google Play Billing — processes in-app purchases. Google Play Terms of Service
4. Data Retention & Deletion
All game data lives on your device. Uninstalling the app permanently removes it. There is no server-side data for us to delete. Records of completed in-app purchases are retained by Google Play (not by us) so they can be restored if you reinstall the game. To reset your advertising identifier, use Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
5. Children's Privacy
Code Runner is rated for ages 13 and up. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The game shows no targeted ads to users who indicate they are under 13 via AdMob's consent flow.
6. Your Rights
Because we do not collect personal information directly, the rights granted by GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations apply primarily to AdMob's data collection. You can exercise those rights via:
- The in-app Privacy Choices option (About / Credits screen, reachable from Settings) to update your AdMob consent choices
- Your device's Reset Advertising ID control (Android Settings → Privacy → Ads)
- Turning off reminders any time via the in-app Settings → Notifications toggle, or your device's notification settings for Code Runner
- Contacting Google directly via the links in Section 3

7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
